Saturday Stirrings Meme
Last week, Guy Fieri from the Food Network visited Mike's Chili Parlor in Seattle. They were throwing chili on all sorts of foods like:
- French fries
- hamburger buns
- spaghetti noodles
- hot dogs
- on corn bread
- mixed with cooked white rice
- mixed with a box of macaroni and cheese
- on scrambled eggs
- scooped with tortilla chips
- in corn tortillas
- on baked potatoes
- on tater tots
- on taco salad
- in burrito flour tortillas
- with a "chili bar" (bowls of shredded cheese, diced tomatoes, sour cream, Fritos, chopped onions, etc.)
- over cooked mixed veggies - like corn and zucchini

Get a good enough chili recipe and you could probably serve it over about anything! Ever have it over ice cream? ;-) Thanks for all the ideas!!
I have never thought about serving it over cornbread, yum!
Wow, there's some ways I'd never even thought of serving chili! Great ideas -- thanks for sharing!
Yeah, chili is just something that begs to be served WITH or over something. My 3 favorite ways are: over baked potatoes; with cornbread; and with sour cream, shredded cheese, and crushed corn chips on top.
We ~LOVE~ chili at our house! Think I'll make a pot. :D Thanks for sharing.
